And now for my Recipes for Readers Recommendation: Classic Lasagne

Where The Crawdads Sing was my hands down favorite book for 2019. I did enjoy This Tender Land based on your recommendation. How many books did you read this year? A lot!
I read 59 new books plus re-read parts of Where the Crawdads Sing to refresh my memory for book club. I hope you enjoyed This Tender Land!
Thank you, Kerrin! ❤️ I sure appreciate the mention and suggestion.
Terry Lynn, thank you for you author interview!
Kerrin,
Thanks for your great suggestions! While I loved Where the Crawdads Sing, This Is How It Always Is has had the biggest impact on me. Months later, I continue to think about it. I love a good story that helps me see others in a new way. This one did exactly that.
Great picks Karrin. I’ve only read one of them by our mutual friend which was awesome. But I have a feeling I’ll be adding them to my 2020 list of books!!! My favourites of 2019 were:
Three Hours Late by Nicole Trope
The Magnolia Story by Chip and Joanna Gaines
The Night Before/The Morning After both by Lisa Jackson
And the highlight and that book that you will always want to tell a story about:
Fiddle Dee Dee Recipes: A Taste of Gone With The Wind by Terry Lynn Crane
Happy New Year and thanks for sharing your books and reviews with us. Might get to visit a bookshop with you in Texas when we visit in June. Xx
Elaine, you and I “met” each other when you posted Fiddle Dee Recipes on Goodreads. I look forward to meeting you in person this summer at Rodeo Goat!
The news on the Australian fires is so sad. Keep safe.
Yes Pam, “this is how it always is” was an impactful novel. The author was so kind to send me a personal note in response to an email I sent via her blog.
